Georgi Nikolov, born in 1997 in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, is a second-generation luthier deeply influenced by his father, Maestro Hristo Nikolov. Trained from a young age, he later honed his craft at the prestigious International School of Violin Making “Antonio Stradivari” in Cremona, Italy, where he graduated with honors and received the Premio Grandi-Taglietti for excellence.
Now based in Cremona, Georgi creates violins, violas, and cellos in both modern and antiqued styles, inspired by the Classical Cremonese tradition. He uses aged tonewoods—spruce from Val di Fiemme and Balkan maple—and finishes his instruments with either oil or spirit varnish, depending on the model.
Each instrument bears Georgi’s fire-stamped label, logo, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
