We are pleased to offer this exceptional violin by Italian maker Emanuele Curtoni of Pistoia, Italy.

Part of a new generation of talented Italian luthiers, Curtoni has earned recognition for his refined craftsmanship, artistic varnish work, and dedication to the traditions of classical violin making. Working in Tuscany, a region with a rich history of artisan craftsmanship, he creates instruments that draw inspiration from the great Italian masters while reflecting his own individual style and approach.

Curtoni trained in the workshop of respected Italian maker Gabriele Natili, where he developed a strong foundation in traditional hand craftsmanship and the principles of fine violin making. Every instrument is built entirely by hand, with careful attention given to both tonal performance and visual elegance.

His work has attracted increasing attention among musicians and collectors, and in 2024 he received international recognition at the ANLAI International Violin Making Competition, further establishing his reputation as one of Italy’s promising contemporary makers.

What distinguishes Curtoni’s instruments is their balance of craftsmanship, playability, and musical character. His violins possess the warmth, projection, and responsiveness sought by today’s performers while maintaining the refinement and personality expected of a handmade Italian instrument.
