At Alpha Strings, we want upgrading your violin to be simple, fair, and realistic.

How the Trade-In Program Works

If you purchased your violin from Alpha Strings and are ready to move up to a higher-level instrument, you may be eligible to receive up to 25% of your original violin purchase price as trade-in credit toward your next violin.

Trade-In Requirements

• The violin must have been purchased from Alpha Strings.
• The new violin must be priced higher than the instrument being traded in.
• Trade-in credit is based on the original violin purchase price and may be adjusted based on condition.
• The instrument must be in good, playable condition with no major structural damage.
• Trade-in credit applies toward the purchase of another violin and has no cash value.
• Shipping, taxes, setup work, repairs, and accessories are not included in the trade-in value.

Rather than requiring customers to make an unrealistic jump in price, our program is designed to give you meaningful credit while still allowing Alpha Strings to properly inspect, service, and resell traded instruments.
