Alpha Strings Return Policy

At Alpha Strings, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, most items may be returned within 14 days of delivery or purchase (unless otherwise specified) for a refund of the original purchase price. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

To qualify for a refund, returned items must be in their original condition and packaging, showing no signs of wear, damage, alteration, abuse, excessive use, or neglect. All original accessories and materials must be included, including but not limited to cases, bows, straps, strings, certificates, care kits, and any other items originally shipped with the product.

Customers must contact Alpha Strings to obtain a Return Authorization before returning any merchandise. Returns received without prior authorization may be refused.

We recommend using a reliable carrier and purchasing shipping insurance when returning merchandise. Alpha Strings is not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during return shipping. Customers are responsible for any damage resulting from improper packaging of returned items. Any item received damaged due to insufficient packaging may be refused or subject to a reduction in the refund amount to cover repair or replacement costs.

Violins and other instruments valued at $1,500 or more must be returned using an expedited, trackable, and fully insured shipping service. Return shipping instructions will be provided when your return request is approved.

Unless the return is due to a defective item, shipping damage, or an error on our part, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

All returned merchandise is inspected upon arrival. Items that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy may be refused or may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

• Custom ordered, commissioned, personalized, or special-order instruments and accessories
• Opened strings, rosin, cleaning products, shoulder rests, and other consumable items
• Items that have been altered, adjusted, repaired, or modified after delivery
• Clearance, closeout, or final sale items

Refunds will be issued only to the original form of payment used for the purchase. Please allow 5–10 business days after the return has been processed for the refund to appear on your account.

Alpha Strings reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with this policy.
